Throw one of the nearby rocks at the pot, then run back up the staircase nearby to avoid taking damage. Make sure to pick up the Tinderbox near the candle on the ground, then use the explosive anywhere on the rocks to have Daniel set it on the ground. Walking further in, you'll eventually reach a rubble collapse Daniel will write a Memento noting to find a way through (good thing we have an explosive). Shortly after walking down this hallway, Daniel will receive a flashback of a girl/woman running away from someone. After reaching the top of the stairs, turn right and go down this hallway. Repeat the drilling and filling process, and pick up the Explosive to get a sanity boost. On the same side of the room, head to the opposite corner to find the "Secondary" keg. Picking up the pot will now give you a Partially Filled Pot. Now take out your Chemistry Pot to grab some of the leaking liquid. Take out your drill and use it to drill a hole into the keg. Exit the room and turn right.Īfter re-entering the keg area, look into the right corner to find a standing keg labeled "Primary". Now, open up your inventory and combine the three separate pieces into a single Hand Drill. Turn around and go to the shelf on the opposite side of the room. On the right side of this room, grab the eye-level Tinderbox on the wooden shelf, and then jump to grab the Tinderbox on the top rack (same shelf).

Exit this room, follow the wall past the large kegs, and enter the door that's cracked open. The game will tell you about combining parts at this point, but there's still one more drill part we need to find before we can combine anything. On the long wooden/stone shelf nearby, grab the Tinderbox in between the crates, and then grab the Drill Part behind it. On the right side, pick up the Tinderbox that's sitting on a crate.
Unlike the past few rooms, you should see a bright candle in this one. After exiting this room, again follow the wall to the right and around the corner go through the next door you encounter. In the nearby corner, be sure to open the chest and grab the Tinderbox, Laudanum, and Oil inside. Across the room from this spot, the other wooden shelf also has a Tinderbox at about eye level. Due left of this spot, you can find another Tinderbox on the bottom rack of the nearby wooden shelf. Straight back and to the left in this room, you'll find a Tinderbox on the small wood/stone shelf. Leave this room and follow the wall on your right until you hit a door that's creaked open.
Also, pick up the Regarding Explosive Mixture note on the desk. In this room, turn left from the door and pick up the Tinderbox sitting underneath the table.

You should find yourself walking down another staircase into the equipment area: a large room full of kegs. Once you feel comfortable leaving, go to the area on the opposite side of the large room (due right of the entrance staircase). Move out when you feel safe enough to explore, or after the music returns to normal (if playing on Normal). Hide behind the barrels and shelves in the middle of the room, and keep an eye out in the larger room you came from. Warning: After picking up the drill part, a Grunt will spawn nearby.
